If your questions is, "How long do I have to hide from the police while there is an OFA (order for a arrest) out on my for my FTA (Failure to Appear) before some statute runs....you are likely out of luck. The statute of limitations applies as to how long the state has to file charges against you.

If the charges were timely filed and you just didn't go to court...you will most likely have a warrant against you outstanding, probably in many states and your DMV will communicate to other DMVs that you are revoked for FTA related to DWI charges.

Basically, you are going to have to face the charges at some point. In some RARE circumstances, it is possible to plead guilty to the DWI if things are done properly and only under certain circumstances, with the permission of the Court (looks like you are in California, but your DWI was here in NC).
