Legal Question in Immigration Law in North Carolina

married with a felony

i recently got married to my husband who is a us citizen. however before i got married i had commited a felony (access card fraud) i was sentenced to three years probation and that is over in january. i entered the country legally but stayed illegally. please tell me what are my options. am i automatically banned from citizenship. please help.

I hope you told your spouse this BEFORE you got married, else you might just find yourself annuled, turned in and deported.

Before you do that though, go to the new Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Services (formerly "INS") website and search around and see if the answer to your question can be found there. The site (you'll have to delete the blanks) is www. bcis. gov

Get an immigation lawyer, because you're definitely skating on thin ice...but then, you knew that! :o))
