Legal Question in Personal Injury in North Carolina
I was in an accident. It was the other persons fault. Their insurance guy got me a rental that day and asked me if I had any injuries or pain. I answered no, and he then gave me a check for around $400 and I signed a paper stating that basically that was my settlemnt and that I had no ailments and what not. However, about a month ago I had a seizure and the doctors believe it could be related. Is it too late to get compensation. I'm a full time college student and work par time but have no health insurance. Let me know what you think. This occurred in north Carolina and I am a male of 24 years.

you signed a release and negotiated the settlement check...you have waived your right to further compensation by an accord and satisfaction...sorry
