Legal Question in Traffic Law in North Carolina
I have a moving violation ticket (not coming to a complete stop at red Light) and I need to get it off my record before I go back to work
1 Answer from Attorneys
The only way this is on your record is if you have already taken care of it in some fashion. If you have done that - you are very likely stuck. If you actually meant to say you want to keep it from going on your record, just hire a traffic attorney. If your address on your ticket is correct, you are going to get a crap ton of letters from Wilmington traffic attorneys just itching to help you. You don't need F. Lee Bailey for a traffic ticket so throw away the ones that look expensive and roll with the one that quotes you the cheapest flat rate fee - should be a total of around $338 for a reduction to Improper Equipment - much more than that and you are getting ripped off. Also a lot of attorneys will let you make payments over several months if you need to - so shop around and get the best deal.
