Speeding 80mph in a 65mph zone

I was recently caught speeding and was wondering that if I get the speed reduced does it go against insurance? If not how low do I need to try for?

You would need to get it reduced to 74 in a 65. If this is your only ticket in three years, the reduction will not impact your insurance.

Otherwise, it depends on your driving record and that of your household to know what the best way to mitigate any insurance consequences.
