Legal Question in Veterans Law in North Carolina
A Valid Claim?
Three weeks after I joined the US Army I waived my enlistment to go Airborne. I was later informed I was unfit due to a bad back and bad feet and reassigned to serve in the infrantry.
I served three years with considerable pain. After honorable discharge, I filed for compensation based on aggrivated condition and their knowledge of my condition and failure to discharge. I was denied. Do I have reason to appeal?

You can file a notice of disagreement with the findings of the local regional office. By doing this, your case will be appealed to the Board of Veterans Appeals. Contact the DAV or the PVA to assist you with this effort. Both are very good organizations.
