Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in North Carolina

When my father died I was named in the estate. I signed a legal document with the estate lawyer that I would not take any interest in the estate because I had a huge judgement on me and I wanted my siblings to be able to settle the estate. Now my siblings are wanting to give me some of the money from the sale of my dad's property. My question is, "would that be illegal? and would that make my siblings a participant in my illegal activity?"

Yes that would constitute fraud. If your creditors could show that the money you received was a result of the proceeds of the sale they could enforce their judgment.
