Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in North Carolina

My husband and I have a will and at the time it was drawn up our children were not married. Since my daughter is now married and has a different last name, do we need a codicil for her married name.

Not really, but there may be other changes to your estate plan which are needed. For example, your children may have children or adopt children of their own and you may or may not want to include them in your estate plan.

Please contact my office if you would like me to evaluate your estate plan and determine whether any revision is necessary.
