Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in North Carolina

what do I need to do to revoke a dual power of attorney, and do I have to get the original POA from the lawyer my husband retained to draw it up?

My husband had me sign a POA without reading it while I was under a lot of medication. Now that I am no longer on anti-depressants I want to revoke the POA as my husband has put all monies, stocks, real estate and my destiny in my Son's authority should my husband pass away. I do not want my Son to have this power as He is on narcotic drugs and I know if my husband passed away,my son would sell everything for drugs. Please help.

You wouldn't need the original power of attorney but you should get a lawyer to help you draft a revocation, file it in the appropriate places and send to the appropriate parties.
