Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in North Carolina

what rights does an administrator as Opossed to an Executor of an estate have or his duties.. where no will was left what rights do they have as far as selling and distributing the proceeds to 5 Heirs can he decide How Much each Hier recieve or does the said administrator have to have to split equally between the Five Hier's as far as the Property in the State Of North Carolina?

An administrator has to distribute it according to North Carolina state law.
