Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in North Carolina

My wife and I both have written wills. Our wills state that we are to be buried. The specific cemetery and lot no. are noted on the wills.

We have since changed our minds and want to be cremated.

How do we go about changing this on our wills?

I would recommend that you and your wife have codicils drafted making this one very important change to your legal documents. If you fail to do so, you might end up buried in the wrong cemetary.
