Legal Question in Personal Injury in North Dakota

My mother and I lost a civil case (an auto accident my mother did not provide auto insurance she claimed was providing) in North Dakota for $5000+. I was 17 at the time and now I am being pursued to pay the debt and my suspended license will not be reinstated untill I do. As a minor am I resposible for this debt? If so can I make payments and still have the suspension lifted before the debt is cleared?

I don't follow your question. You can call the North Dakota Department of Transportation in Bismarck and ask what can be worked out with regard to your drivers license. But as far as the civil claim against you??? I don't have enough information to answer.
