Legal Question in Disability Law in Ohio

Is the Family Leave Act a form of Disability?

In December I had a heart attack and have been unable to return to work.Since then I have been getting paid

Short term and Long term disability. My bosses are saying that I don't qualify for The Family Leave Act. The insurance company that pays me says this has nothing to do with the F.L.A.. What are my bosses talking about? Is there a connection ?

Thank You
