Legal Question in Business Law in Ohio
A business has posted a sign in which MY phone number is listed. They realize their mistake, but have not changed the sign because other phone numbers posted are correct. I receive phone calls weekly for this business. They are in another state, North Carolina. What recourse do I have to force them to take the sign down, or at least black out the incorrect phone number?

Hire an attorney to write a letter to the company and explain that they are culpable for harassment as well as a federal communications law. That ought to do the trick. If not, call the police in that jurisdiction and explain the situation as harassing. They will need to investigate and might just convince the company to black out the wrong information.
Or call your Congressman and maybe his/her office can get it done. Good lluck.
