Legal Question in Business Law in Ohio
Collection for Non Payment
I own a business which is a S Corporation. I did business under a contract (drawn up by an attorney) and the company I was doing business with (a well known Fortune 50 company) has stopped corresponding with me and has failed to pay the invoice. This happened two years ago and because of their nonpayment, I have not had the money to hire an attorney to help me fight this. Is there a statute of limitations preventing me from getting payment now? I have a saved voicemail message where they acknowledge they owe me the money.

The statute of limitations for enforcement of a written contract is 15 years in Ohio. You can enforce now.
