After a forclosure and default...

Hello,

My mom went through forclosure in March. At that time the mortage company sent her a defult (I think that is what it was called. Where it lists how much she still owns the company.) That has been almost a year and they have not been in contact since. What does that mean? Will they still try to collect?

It means that there is a judgement against your mom and they can collect on it at any time. A judgment lien is only good for 5 years. Good Luck
