Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Ohio

I let a free use my debit card online one time and they kept my info and have been using it with out me knowing. Will they get in trouble or will they get away with it because i gave them my info that one time?

In Ohio, if someone is using your debit card without your permission, you should contact the card company and dispute the charges and take steps to shut that card down, either by changing the password or perhaps you may have to cancel the card and set up a new one. The rule in Ohio is that if you dispute charges within 30 days of them being first incurred, then you are only liable for the first $50.00 of the charges.

You might also want to call the police and report the theft as well.
