Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Ohio
My question has to do with a legal letter I recieved from an ex-boyfriend. About 4 months ago, I moved into a new home and at that time, my I was still with my ex boyfriend and he was set to move in as well. I ended up breaking up with him before that happened, and he had purchased a washer and dryer that he had delieved to my house in the hopes that he would be moving in with me. Fast forward 4 months later, and I recieve a letter in the mail from his attorney claiming that after this time he wants these items backs, saying he has a reciept. I was wondering what suggestions you might have on how I may approach this matter?
Thanks,
Chris

I might suggest mediation, where you and your ex sit down with a trained neutral to discuss and negotiate on how to solve the situation in a reasonable cost-efficient manner, rather that considering court and the expenses that go with litigation.
