appointed public defender

my nephew was appointed a public defender who refused to fight his case aggressively and would not called him back. when he did he said they offer him a deal but when he got to court he says there was no deal thats what he assumes thats what he will get . what can we do about this? so my nephew has mental dissorder and he pleaded guilty because this lawyer told him to. Is there anything we can do this worthless public defender

If your nephew is not satisfied with what he recieved, he should file a motion to withdraw the plea. The case could then be relitigated. Best Rregards, Edward DiCato
