Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio

Fired after conviction discovered

My boyfriend was hired at his job after he'd committed his crime, but prior to his conviction, so he never disclosed anything on his application. He was terminated today when someone sent an anonymous note to his boss. Can they fire him?

They can do that. It is the same as firing him if he committed the crime while working at the job. If you commit a crime, you can be terminated for cause.
