await sentencing on physical control. Any differnce between this and dui after multiple priors?(3rd in 6 yrs)

The maximum sentence is 6 months in jail , so the court will have much leverage to ensure you do not repeat. You need to convince the court that you are being treated for your problem; that you are correcting the problem. Going to an alcohol assessment and attending AA meetings, and getting a sponsor are all measures that might assure the court that it doesnt need to punish you too greatly. Otherwise make sure you are clean of drugs, and employed and ready for a lot of community work service as a substitute for jail.
