Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio
Bad temper father
My husband and I met online through a dating service. He is from Ohio and I am from Florida. He moved to Florida and we got married here. I got pregnant and we decided to move to Ohio because of the cost of living. We moved and it has been nothing but fighting. He is mentally abusive with a horrible temper and has to control everything. This is not a healthy enviroment for our children, and I don't have any family here because I am from Florida. So after 2 years of trying there with him, he has told us to move back to Florida. So we left and are back home, I'm getting a full time job and will have to raise them alone, but I have support from my loving family. He now says that it's over and he has filed something with the state of Ohio. He says that I will have to bring our baby back in a couple of weeks. Is this true? What legal steps should I take?

Get yourself a lawyer ASAP. He is probably filing for divorce and will claim you absconded with the children and abandoned him.
I assume you have not been served with paperwork yet? If so, turn it over to your lawyer right away.
You may have to go back to Ohio to resolve this. Your lawyer will tell what's best.

Find out where the paperwork was filed and contact a couple attorneys for a consultation in that area.
