Child Support

My Boyfriend says he no longer wants to see me . We have a 6 month old baby . Im only 19 and dont know what to do. He is 21 and not working. I work part time. He hasnt said anything about visitations of the baby but my question is.. He says IF he has to he will pay child support. How do i go about doing this?

You should probably call a lawyer. To get child support, you need to file an action with the court requesting it. It is a mathematical formula based on the parties incomes.... and sometimes, potential incomes.

When there is reason to believe that there will be problems with a child's parent staying in that child's life in the future and helping to support that child, it is best to work through the court system to get an order of support.
