Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

child support

I pay child support to my ex through an allotment to her bank since we seperated. After the divorce, the $ amount was the same & I never changed the allotment. It was a few years before i started sending it to child services. My son has since turned 18. Child services wants the $ amount from when the support order started to the time I started sending it to them. I want to know if this can be stopped?

Re: child support

If you have proof you paid during those months/years, you should be able to defeat any attempt to go back and get more from you (unless the original order said all payments should be made through child support services).
