Child Support during separation and after surgery.

I am a woman who had a hysterectomy and separated 10

days after surgery. Recovery was six weeks.

My question is: Why isn't child support paid during

separation? Why do you have to file for divorce to

get child support.

Why does my husband not have to support me after

surgery during recooperatio

In Ohio child support can be paid during separation. You need to file for "legal separation". Under that you can get child support and have your property divided.
