Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio
Custody/Child Support
My ex-wife had our son from age 3-9 and during that time I paid her child support. At age 9 she agreed to turn custody over to me. At that time we agreed she would not pay child support as I was getting him for the right reasons. She also stated that if I asked for support she would got to court and lie to get him back and she stated that the courts always believe a woman. I did not want the headache so he is now almost 16 and I never reciveid any support for him, documented or un. I'm almost ready to let him go back but my question would be Could I argue to the court that if he does she should not get any support as she never provided any support for the 6 years he was with me. She stated that if she got him back she would not ask for support but honesty is not her strong suit while greed and dishonesty are. I would really being angry if I had to pay child support her after she never paid any money towards ANY of his needs while I had him for going on 6 years. What do you think?? I live in Ohio
Thanks,
Rich

Re: Custody/Child Support
I recommend that you modify your shared parenting plan to reflect the new terms of custody and therefore child support.
