Divorce with child custody

Sir/Madam,

I am going through divorce process and the case was decided to be finalised after october,2007. I am represented by an attorney,but suddenly I found online that my divorce decree has been filed and issued 18 days back and my attorney said he is not aware of any of these changes. On further persuing ,he said he is not informed of the filing and he till now has not sent a copy of the decree which was issued with out my knowledge. I am currently in USA and I am really confused about what I should do now. I would really appreciate for any advise.Neither my attorney, or my husband or court or my husbands attorney has informed me of any changes in the process. What steps can I take now to protect myself, rights of my 2 yr old kid.

Are you saying that even though you attended the court hearing and signed off on the separation agreement and shared parenting plan, the divorce was not supposed to be finalized until next month and instead was finalized last month? If the divorce decree has been issued, then the terms of the separation agreement and shared parenting plan are now in effect.
