Divorce Laws

My husband left 9 years ago, we have children, but have had absolutely no contact for these 9 years. Can I get a divorce on grounds of abandonment/dissertion without having to locate him or get child support orders?

Probably. A suit for divorce would have to be filed and the rules for service would have to be followed. Then you could get an uncontested divorce. Ed DiCato
