Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio
Guardian Ad Litem
A guardian ad litem was hired to decide which parent should have full custody. The guardian met w/ the plantiffs witnesses in her office and went to the defendants house to talk w/ their witnesses. The guardian told one party that they should not go w/ shared parenting and should go for full custody. She was extremely biased in her report. Her report was dismissed and she was reprimanded by the judge. Is the party that paid for the guardian ($1000) able to be reimbursed the money paid to her for her doing a negligent job?

Re: Guardian Ad Litem
File a motion with the Court asking that the guardian reimburse the fees paid.
