Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

My son is 8 months old. His dad and I were never married. I am now moving out of state to be closer to my family. He says I am not allowed to do this. What are both of our rights in this situation?

If there has been no custody order entered for the child, as the mother, you are enetitled to take the child, and relocate anywhere.
