Amend original complaint

As a plaintiff how many times can I amend my original complaint? The defendant has already responded to the original complaint.

As many as you wish, provided you receive leave from the Court. After a party has filed a responsive pleading, you must get leave from the Court to amend a Complaint.

Once the Defendant has responded to the complaint, you can amend the complaint as many times as the Court will allow you to. In other words, you need permission from the Court to file an amended complaint.
