Response to claim

My former employer is suing me. I need to provide a response and counterclaim in Muni Court. How do I go about this?

I would suggest that you retain counsel. You are at a decided disadvantage handling a case pro se against an attorney.

Your Answer must deny the allegations...that needs to be done within 28 days from the date you officially recieved notice.

A counterclaim would be typed on the same pleading as the Answer, and that would request damages as if you were suing him....it is your claim against him...same time requirements.
