Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Ohio

filing a pro se civil case

i recently filed for bankruptcy and it is due to be discharged june 2006. my lawyer also suggested i file a case to have my student loans discharged becuase of extreme financial hardship. i am disabled and i am caring for two children, one also physically disabled and one with a learning disability. my only income is from disability . my bankruptcy attorney says that i have a strong case based on extreme hardship.i want to file, but i cant afford the attorney fees. legal aid wont take it. im thinking of filing pro se, asking for a fee waiver and going it alone. what are your suggestions?

Law school clinics are similar to legal aid in that the provide representation based on financial need. One of them may be able to assis you.
