Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Ohio

My boyfriend is in jail in cleveland, ohio and all of his belongings are in georgia with the mother of his kids. He has asked her to at least send his jewelry. His earings are 6 carats, 5 carats, and the watch is 3 1/2 carats. Is there any way that his mom or his sister can sue for the return of his jewelry?

No, but he can sue thru a lawyer.
