i was born in chicago, illinois i got marry about 1 year ago to a illegal mexican now i would like for him to get his greencard what should i do?

How did your husband come to USA? On a visa which later expired or illegally?
If illegally, then most likely that after you petition for him, he will have to go back to Mexico to apply for a visa.
