Legal Question in Immigration Law in Ohio
I am in H1B status and my visa and i94 valid till next yr. BUt I resigned my company and left US permanently thru windsor,Canada.I entered canada as a canadian PR requirement and from Canada I will go to India.
But while leaving US thru ambassador bridge, there was no US immigration and they didnt take my i94 or no stamp in my passport as the date I m leaving US. DO I need to inform anyone that I left US or do I need to deposit my i94 somewhere? How they know that I m not in US ? I am applying GC Processing from India . Will that be any problem later on , as they didnt take my i94 or no record that I left US after resiging my job? What shoudl I do now in my situation

Yes, you need to submit the I-94 and proof that you left the USA on a certain date. This is very important.
