Legal Question in Immigration Law in Ohio

My husband came to the US illegally ( without inspection) from Africa. I know there isnt anything we can do for him right now, but we want to try to bring his 2 minor kids to live with us. They are currently living with my mother-in-law. Can I file for his kids to come here as my stepchildren?
