Help needed F1 Student : OPT expired , 18 days remaining for 60 day probationary

Hello there:

I am in very big trouble, I earned my Masters degree, My Optional Practical Training was expired on 19 Feb 2005, Now I am going through 60 days probationary period which is ending on 19 April 2005.

Now I want to go to school, its quarter is starting from 25 april, 2005. which is after 5 days of ending of probabtionay period.

Can I transfer to that school ?? Do these 5 days put me out of F-1 student status. Please help me out

Regrettably, you will be out of status if you stay beyond the 60 day probation period. Therefore, you must pick up your F-1 outside of the U.S. and re-enter. You should talk to your foreign student advisor to see if there are other options if you don't want to go home. The law often has exceptions to the rule that I do not know unless I research the topic.
