Legal Question in Immigration Law in Ohio

My name is viral and i have a family based immigration question.

my family base immigration file is opened in india. which was petitioned by my uncle under Fourth catagory(F4). and i am eligible to qualify under derivative beneficent as per CSPA law.

But, right now i am under student visa in united state and i want to get approval over here without visiting back home country. is that possible ????

if yes, then how long it going to take me to change my status.
