Legal Question in Insurance Law in Ohio
disposition
i had a house fire earlier this year, the fire marshall ruled it a complete accident, and said we did the right thing by getting out, but now the insurance company is sueing us. we have a disposition hearing. what is this?

It sounds like the insurer has asserted a declaratory judgment action, and is asking the court to interpret the policy in a way to deny coverage. If so, you must get an attorney ASAP. Who is the insurer? Where is your house located? I handle insurance coverage matters regularly. Please call me to discuss further?
