Legal Question in Employment Law in Ohio
Termination of employment over the phone
My friend and I worked at a fast food restraunt. We heard we were going to be fired, and when the time came, it happend over the phone. A text message to be more exact. I was under the assumption that you could not be terminated over the phone. Is there any legal action that could be taken?

Re: Termination of employment over the phone
The law does not require any particular form of communication when terminating an employee. Therefore, terminating an employee by phone is legal.
