Legal Question in Legal Ethics in Ohio

Can something be done about this attorney?

My daughter was killed and her ex husband was trying to be Administrator of her estate. They had been divorced 9 years. We were involved in a wrongful death suit. There was a hearing and I had 6 witnesses to show him as a deadbeat dad. His attorney wanted him to be Admin very badly. The judge refused to rule and told the attorneys to work it out among themselves. My ex son in laws attorney told mine that he would get my ex son in law to sign off ''if'' he could become an attorney on my behalf in the wrongful death suit. Now it appears that the very man that talked to me so badly is now one of my attorneys. He can sit back, do nothing and receive a percentage of my attorneys money through some lie he told my ex son in law to get him to sign off and make me Administrator. I don't want this man as an attorney for me or receiving any money due to my daughters death. I feel what he did was immoral and illegal. What can I do?

Re: Can something be done about this attorney?

1) Have you spoken to your attorney about this? What does s/he say? or

2) Make it clear to your attorney that any fees of this other attorney comes out of his/her share. or

3) Consult another attorney in your locale. or

4) Hire a new attorney to replace your attorney to seek a hearing before the probate judge.

Too many unstated facts to give you a better opinion.
