Legal Question in Military Law in Ohio

fraternization

I was wondering if a prior service enlisted soldier who has been commissioned through OCS and now doing degree completion can date an enlisted soldier. Degree completion has been awarded to the now 2LT, and that individual attends college full time (is not working at a unit) yet still receives regular 2LT pay. What are the consequences for an officer who marries an enlisted soldier since the policy was changed 1 Mar 2000. I ask this because I know of several officer and enlisted soldiers who have married since the change in policy and nothing happened to them. They informed me that punishment is initiated by the Commander, and that their commander did not do anything, so nothing happened to them for marrying. Is there anyway around the policy, and if an Officer and enlisted soldier wanted to marry, can one of them choose to get out, or will the army allow one to get out without a negative discharge?
