Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Ohio

appraisals

I recently paid for a real estate appraisal for a refincing. I decided to apply to more than one company but am being told that I must pay for a anew appraisal for each company.Is this true or may I use the same appraisal for all companies

Each lender generally uses their own appraisal service. They won't do business with you unless your follow their rules.
