Do condominium associations have any liability for damage to property if they have a false security camera, if the homeowner relies on the camera to detect the criminal act? The camera is present solely to deter/scare criminals from vandalising property.

All unit owners are presumed to know the obligations of the Association from the Declaration and Bylaws. Look to the duties of the Association in general, and the insurance required. What was vandalized? Is it part of the common property?
