Eviction

Can a landlord accept rent for one month and tell you over the phone that you have until the beginning of the next month to vacate the premises because they have sold the house without any prior notices?

Re: Eviction

The new owner takes subject to your lease. If there is no lease, then, the landlord has to give you at least 30 days notice to vacate. If at that point you are not out, the landlord has to follow up with an eviction.

Good luck
