Is it true that when you erect a fence on the property line that you have to move in 6 inches to make sure you are not on your neighbors property.I have adjoining driveways with a less than stable neighbor and I want to put a fence up.If I have to move in six inches I won't be able to get in and out.

The set back requirements are different for every community. You should check with your local zoning dept. to determine what the set back requirements are in your communty.
