Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Ohio

No health insurance and own a home

I recently lost my health insurance and was wondering what happens if I end up in the hospital. Can they take my home or put a lien against it?

Re: No health insurance and own a home

Paying your mortgage is an obligation that needs to be met regardless of your health. If you do not pay your mortgage for any reason, the mortgage company can foreclose on your house. If you are that concerned you may want to consider disability insurance.
