How long do I have to get out of a written contract?

I signed a piece of paper stating I would buy a trailer from another person. Then within 24 hours later I decided I did not want the trailer. Does this get me out of the contract since it had been within 24 hours, thanks

Not necessarily, but it is my recommendation that you immediately consult with an attorney for advise specific to your case. There may be several defenses to your case, but this could only be determined by having a professional reviewing your case.
