Warrenty Deed / Quick Claim Deed

My husband & I have a house - mortgage in my name only - title in both names - I'm moving out soon - I want to quick claim -or- warrenty deed it over - Can I do this before the divorce proceedings, which is now!

There is no problem with granting your soon to be ex a quitclaim deed. The goal is that you want to make sure that you are also giving up any claim to dower. I imagine that the purpose to do this now is that one party wants to sell the property. Otherwise what is the hurry. You are giving up leverage for something else that you may want at a later time. I would only do so with the advice of counsel.
